For over a century, the brand has been part of the <strong>region\u2019s commercial<\/strong> and <strong>cultural landscape<\/strong>, combining craftsmanship, quality, and a keen sense of style.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>From generation to generation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"95\" data-end=\"449\">In 1989, \u00c9ric and Patricia took over the reins, representing the fourth generation of the<strong> Marbaise family.<\/strong> Under their leadership, the <strong>brand modernised and expanded its regional presence.<\/strong> Indeed, with stores in Verviers, Bastogne, Wavre, Heusy, and in the Cora shopping gallery in Rocourt. A few years later, \u00c9ric Paulus was joined by his wife, Annick Pirnay.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"451\" data-end=\"815\">Despite its remarkable growth, Marbaise faced several challenges: economic crises, health-related upheavals, and the digital transformation of the fashion industry. After more than thirty years of building this beautiful story, \u00c9ric Paulus and Annick Pirnay decided to hand over the company, opening a new chapter while preserving its <strong>heritage<\/strong> and <strong>family values.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Looking to the future<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"92\" data-end=\"354\">It is now Xavier Goebels, a well-known entrepreneur from the region and founder of the PointCarr\u00e9 retail chain (sold in 2022), who has taken over Marbaise. His ambition: to <strong>give the brand new momentum<\/strong> while building on its <strong>strong identity<\/strong> and <strong>regional roots.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"356\" data-end=\"605\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.best-value.be\/en\/\">BestValue<\/a><\/strong> is proud to have supported the <em data-start=\"397\" data-end=\"414\">Marbaise family<\/em> in this business transfer \u2014 a mission marked by a deeply human and emotional dimension.
