A new business transfer supported by BestValue
You probably know the Noshaq building in downtown Liège, the Namur cable car, the EVS headquarters, or the Cité Miroir. These iconic projects all share something in common: Bureau d’études Cerfontaine (BEC) contributed to their success.
Frédéric Cerfontaine
Civil engineer by training, Frédéric Cerfontaine has been leading BEC since 2000. Over the past 25 years, the firm has become a key player in the field of engineering consulting and structural stability. Thanks to its strong expertise, BEC has been involved in numerous major public, industrial, and private projects.
With a multidisciplinary team of engineers and draftsmen, BEC seamlessly integrates into projects of all sizes, working alongside architects, project owners, and contractors.
A new chapter for Cerfontaine Engineering Office
After a quarter of a century at the helm, Frédéric Cerfontaine wanted to look to the future. At the end of 2024, he turned to BestValue for guidance.
One year later, Cerfontaine Engineering Office joins the Studibo Group, which is majority-owned by the Dutch investment fund Icelake Capital. This integration will enable BEC to strengthen its potential by joining a network of experienced engineering and design firms. Together, they offer a comprehensive range of services covering every stage of a construction project.
At BestValue, we are proud to have supported Frédéric Cerfontaine throughout the entire sale process — from business valuation to the successful closing of the transaction.
