Business Transfer in Wallonia: ECEM Joins Duchêne (Eiffage Group)
BestValue is pleased to announce the sale of Entreprise de Construction Et de Montage (ECEM) to Duchêne, a subsidiary of the Eiffage Benelux.
ECEM, a Well-Established Family Business
Founded in 1987, ECEM is a family-owned company that initially specialised in constructing agricultural and industrial buildings. Today, it focuses its operations on four key areas:
-
Steel trading
-
Hardware supplies
-
Metal construction
-
Surface treatment
The company is located at the entrance of the SPI industrial zone in Tinlot — an ideal location for serving both private and professional clients. Among its clients is Sodemat, a subsidiary of the Eiffage group, which helped pave the way for a strategic alignment with ECEM.
Duchêne expands its presence in Wallonia
Duchêne, also a subsidiary of Eiffage Benelux, is active in several sectors: construction, civil engineering, carpentry, and railway electrification. With more than 450 employees and a turnover exceeding €170 million, Duchêne is a major industry player. With the integration of ECEM’s facilities, it plans to develop a dedicated workshop for wood and metal structures. This acquisition aligns with Duchêne’s growth strategy focused on the Walloon market.
We are proud to have supported the shareholders of ECEM throughout their business transfer journey — from valuation to the successful completion of the transaction.
