BestValue supports the transfer of Toner de Presse
In 2001, Nathalie Boulanger and Didier Gilson laid the first stone of what would become Toner de Presse. Twenty-five years later, to the day, they are turning the page. They are handing over the reins of their company to a new owner.
Over the years, Toner de Presse has established itself as a reference in digital printing and related services. It caters exclusively to professional clients. But beyond the machines and print runs, the sellers like to describe their company as a true concierge service for the graphic industry. From technical design, through its own in-house design office, to delivery of the finished product, Toner de Presse supports every client from start to finish. It is this ability to take on the most varied challenges, with tailor-made and innovative solutions, that has built the company’s reputation.
Its diversified offering spans Web2Print, packaging, print, and displays. Together, these meet the market’s key needs.
Based in Liège and Brussels, the printing company is also committed to a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) approach. This is one of the reasons why its long-standing clients include multinationals, major banking institutions, and communication and marketing agencies.
A highly symbolic transmission
After building and growing this venture for nearly 25 years, Nathalie and Didier decided to pass the torch. This autumn 2026, Toner de Presse has found its successor: Julien Ubaghs. It is a powerful symbol for this transmission. The sale was finalised on the very day of the company’s 25th anniversary, like a wink from fate between one story closing and another beginning.
In Julien, the sellers immediately recognised an entrepreneurial spirit. They also saw the potential he could bring to the development of Toner de Presse. After starting his career in the building materials trade, Julien was eager to build something of his own. A manager at heart, passionate about strategic and operational challenges, he saw in Toner de Presse the ideal opportunity to fully commit to entrepreneurship.
A transition organised over three years
To ensure business continuity, Nathalie Boulanger and Didier Gilson will support Julien Ubaghs for three years following the takeover. This will allow them to pass on their knowledge of the company, its trades, and its clients. This gradual transition period will let Toner de Presse continue its development while preserving the expertise, trusted relationships, and values that have accompanied its growth since its founding.
We want to thank Nathalie Boulanger and Didier Gilson for their trust warmly, and wish Julien Ubaghs great success in this new challenge!
Thanks also to the Elegis Verviers office for its collaboration on the legal aspects of this transaction.
