BestValue supported the acquisition of Menuiserie Lonneux by two Liège-based entrepreneurs.
With over 30 years of experience and a team of around ten skilled carpenters, Menuiserie Lonneux, based on the Herve plateau, supports its clients in bringing their interior design projects to life: staircases, doors, hardwood flooring, custom-built storage units, and more.
Two ambitious entrepreneurs
Following his first family entrepreneurial venture at Elneo, Mathieu Bouhy decided to fully dedicate himself to entrepreneurial buyouts. His ambition is clear: to support young talent through co-investment. A passionate advocate for local SMEs, he is committed to preserving their expertise while breathing new life into them.
In 2022, alongside Basile Pirlot, he acquired GIMI: a Liège-based company founded in 1985 and specialising in B2B security and fire detection. The success of that transaction gave Mathieu the appetite to do it again.
At the end of 2025, he partnered with Edouard Halleux to take over Menuiserie Lonneux. A trained construction engineer, Edouard began his career as a site manager at major firms in the sector. Driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a natural connection with Mathieu, he quickly decided to leap into business ownership.
The duo clicked immediately, and the acquisition of Menuiserie Lonneux felt like a natural fit.
